Free Music

Hey world! So this is my first blog post and I’ll be posting every day (I do hope). My name is Danie, I’ve been blogging for nearly 5 years; I’ve used blogging as a type of “journal” for myself. Now I’d like to write about something more concrete and something I’d like to think I know a lot about; music! I mean, good music, music that makes you think, music that moves you, not the mainstream sell-yourself-for-fame music. I typically support artists and bands who distribute free tracks (notice the blog address), but that’s typically hard to find in the year 2008. So instead I’ll try to find the best of the best in unknown and obscure artists who distribute at least one free song.

So my motto: if there’s 1 free thing, you’ll know about it.

Without further adieu I’d like to introduce my first project (by the way, I’ll be calling these “projects”):

His name is Sam, his stage name is Zsammy , and he’s fantastic. Everything he puts out there is free, free, free, and it’s good.

Fact: He records everything by himself in basements! Now that’s a true patron of the arts.
